About

I'm Luis Gordon, a software engineer who builds things at the intersection of code and curiosity. I'm fascinated by how the brain works, how software systems scale, and how to learn faster.

This site is where I think out loud. I write about the tools I use, the problems I solve, and the experiments I run on myself. Neurogenesis — the birth of new neurons — is both a literal interest and a metaphor for continuous learning.

When I'm not writing code, I'm probably reading about neuroscience, optimizing some aspect of my workflow, or building something I'll write about here.

What I Write About

  • Software engineering — architecture, tooling, and building for the web
  • Science & biohacking — neurogenesis, cognition, and self-experimentation
  • Building in public — shipping products, lessons learned, and process

More

  • Now — what I'm currently focused on
  • Uses — tools and software I use daily
